Cancer Project

Our Masonic Family has a wonderful partnership with the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota which we will continue to support.  This year we will support Dr. Ann Blaes in the Masonic Scholar Project Support Program, "Improving Quality of Life for Cancer Victims and Survivors", at the Masonic Cancer Center.  Dr. Blaes' research is focused on improving the quality of life for cancer survivors by examing if pre-treatment with cardiac medications can reduce the effects of cancer chemotherapy on the heart.

In addition to accepting Chapter donations and memorials, we have another beautiful afghan to raffle off and will hold a benefit Dinner and Dance and Auction on Saturday, November 13, 2010.

Please make check payable to Grand Chapter of Minnesota OES with "Cancer Project" shown in the memo line.
